Testing and Analysis of Contaminated Soil and Ground Water Training

On 10 of November 2017, COT Academy had organized a training course on “Testing and Analysis of Contaminated Soil and Ground Water” for 16 staffs of Eastern Energy Plus Co.,Ltd. (Praeksa Waste Pit in Samutprakarn province). The training was aimed at learning with fundamental understanding in relating to qualification, ground water flow direction, data survey planning, observation pond, tools, systematic soil and rground water samplings, and summary on contamination for related personnel in monitoring work and with corrective recommendation to the management. Team of lecturers were 1. Mr.Noppaluk Supathanasinkasem, director of soil pollution group, Department of Industrial Works, 2. Assoc.Prof. Thammasak Rojviroon, permanent lecturer of environmental engineering subject, Civil Engineering Department, Engineering Faculty,  Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, and 3. Mr.Rattanin Saengsayan, a senior boring specialist. Main topics of the training are as follows:

1. Regulation on the Controlling of Soil and Groundwater Contamination within Factory Compound;
2. Monitoring of Contamination in Soil and Groundwater;
3. Investigation and Controlling of Soil and Groundwater Contamination within Factory Compound.
