DESCRIPTION
According to the amendment of Energy Conservation Act B.E.2535 Section 19 which requires buildings to be constructed or modified to have size and type as complied with the Ministerial Building Regulations for standards, criteria and methods used in building design for energy conservation of B.E.2552. This requires the building design for energy conservation under Section 20. If the Building Control Board approved this Ministerial Regulation, it will be effective as similarly to the Regulation issued under Section 8 of Building Control Act B.E.2522. Because this is new, readiness for operation must be prepared to provide understanding and to gain cooperation from both agencies public and private sectors. Thus it will need preparing of technical manuals as well as public relations, training and seminar for practitioners, including architects and engineers in understanding of building design for energy conservation properly. It will also become tools for building inspection approver to receive acceptance and motivation for the building design to follow the standard and result in efficient energy use in the building.
SERVICE RENDERED
– Curriculum development;
– Prepare training manuals and materials;
– Training in Central Region, Bangkok and Its Vicinity for at least 500 people;
– Training/study visit for the staff of Bureau of Energy Human Resource Development 1 time.
