DESCRIPTION
The project was the collection of data for the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) database system. The target data was Research and Development (R&D) activities and Technology Balance of Payment (TBP) information from entrepreneurs in 2005’s Thai Manufacturing and Service Industries. The data collected would be keyed into a database compatible to the existing NSTDA’s database.
SERVICE RENDERED
– Survey and collection of entrepreneurs through 2,500 or more questionnaires
– Summarize R&D and TBP data from the returned questionnaires.
– Cost estimation for R&D and TBP expenditures and number and expenditures of R&D personnel.
– Suggest policies designed to attract investment from the private sector on R&D activities
– Develop a database compatible with the existing NSTDA database.
