DESCRIPTION
The project is the comprehensive study and development planning for southern coastal area. The project is aimed to development planning for clarity and overall benefit to the local and nation, as well as acceptance of related parties in order to integrate implementation of relevant organizations to the same direction. This is by allowing public participation in development planning. The project area covers 14 provinces of southern region of Thailand, a total area of 70,700 sq.km.

SERVICE RENDERED
–  Review and synthesize relevant document, study report, and related policies on southern coastal area development;
–  Prepare data on economic, infrastructure, social, natural resources and environment;
–  Analyze the existing development situation and evaluate potential and constraints of area development;
–  Analyze the external and internal factors affecting opportunity and risk of area development;
–  Prepare the conceptual framework, direction, and strategy on development of southern coastal area development plan
and preliminary land use plan of potential area;
–  Organize the public participation;
–  Recommend the activities and projects for linkage with surrounding area;
–  Recommend the factors for successful development.
