DESCRIPTION
The project is for the medical center on approximate 200 rais (35 hectares) area. The project was aimed to be used during 15th Asian Games in 2006, and retrofitted to the Hamad Medical City after the games.

All building are constructed using prefabrication technology and post-tensioning floor system. Prefabrication technology could save cost and time as well as easy to control construction quality and least waste including;
•  3 hospitals and a nursing home building with usable area of 190,000 sq.m.;
•  9 nurse hostel buildings with usable area of 170,000 sq.m.;
•  23 married staff housing buildings with usable area of 70,000 sq.m.;
•  Medical learning center with usable area of 5,000 sq.m.;
•  Ministry of Public Health with usable area of 55,000 sq.m.;
•  Nursing recreation center with usable area of 8,000 sq.m.;
•  Central energy plant with usable area of 48,000 sq.m.;
•  Underground car park with usable area of 54,000 sq.m.;
•  Road and underpass.

30,000 million Baht (693 million USD) (1 USD : 43 Baht)
