DESCRIPTION
This project is a master plan for water resources development in Klong Wangtanot basin. The target is to increase the capacity of water retention and the irrigated area of the basin. The project also includes flood mitigation and solution to water quality problem in the lower reservoir area in Tha Mai district, Na Yai Am district and Kaeng Hang Maeo district. Because the construction area is in the National Conserved Forest in the Reserved Forest (zone C) and in the Khao Sip Ha Chan National Park area, the project is subject to environmental impact assessment report.
