DESCRIPTION
The project is aimed to develop a new township on the mountain nearby Murree Township in State of Punjab (boundary to Kashmir) in the area of 11,000 rais (1,760 hectares), a temperate pine zone forest, that would be developed to be an international tourism destination that could draw international tourists to Pakistan. Recommended tourism related activities included eco-tourism and other recreational activities such as forest trekking, skiing, and golf. Zonings would be set by types of activities, residential areas, reserved natural areas and green environment as appropriate and suitable to the geography of the area.
