DESCRIPTION

The objective of the project is to develop a handbook on the evaluation criteria and standards for changes in situation and environment of Provincial Comprehensive plan. This involves studying of concepts, theories of evaluation and assessment at the Provinces level including successful case studies in foreign countries. In order to define definition, criteria and method could be classified by size and role of the Provinces that shall be complied with Town and Country Planning Act (Amendment No.4) B.E.2015 in which significant factors are stated including: 1. Land use;
2. Population density; 3. Government policies and projects;
4. Economic, social and environmental situation; 5. Transportation;
6. Disaster prevention; 7. National security; 8. Other factors.

SERVICE RENDERED

  • Study and prepare the report for the evaluation criteria and standards for changes in the situation and environment of Provincial Comprehensive Plan classified by size and role of the Provinces.
  • Prepare the Provincial Comprehensive Plan evaluation handbook.
  • Organize at least 5 focus group discussions and at least 2 public hearing participated by executives, experts, representatives of relevant agencies, and citizen delegates.
  • Prepare the evaluation report of Provincial Comprehensive Plan as one pilot testing case of the criteria and standards.
  • Share knowledge and experience to the officers of Department of Public Works and Town and Country Planning.
